Restoring Windows to their former glory…

If a full replacement isn’t possible or affordable, we can replace rotten sills and sub sills with new sections or completed sills, depending on the situation.

Rotten outer linings and pulley stIles can also be replaced. New sashes to match the originals in style and moulding can be made, if necessary. Most sash window repairs are possible but if the window is extremely rotten, full replacement may be the only option.

New sashes, sections and linings are made and fitted to match the originals when they are made. All our timber is treated to prevent rot and critter attack.

How do we do it?…

The rotten wood is removed back to the solid wood. The solid wood is treated and new sections are added. The joints are filled with two-part wood epoxy resin. All complete sills and sections are hardwood. These works can be combined with draught-proofing installation, double-glazed sashes, or simply re-cording. New locks and lifts can also be fitted.
